When I first saw this, I thought – WHY? Then I started thinking … Why NOT? And then I tried it. I tried for novelty value, and was pleasantly surprised that it was not horrible. While not my first choice, I am sure there are people in the world that would make this their first choice.

What was it? Chocolate made with, not milk from a cow, but milk from a camel. Yes milk from a camel. My first thought was no way. But … I have tried camel milk in the past, and camel milk has been a dairy product for much of the world for centuries, and the chocolate was made by a Swiss chocolatier, so … why not?

My first impression … different, not for everyone, but not bad. I bought some home and gave some to some friends. One thinks it is better than regular chocolate. I now have a standing order to bring some home from every trip I make to the Middle East.

But this is just another example of how paradigms are continually being shifted. Some other examples:
+ I visited one client recently, and signed in using an iPad
+ I recently paid for parking with my mobile phone
+ A client gave me her business card, and it had her twitter account on it
+ I recently used Bluetooth to transfer a 40MB file from one laptop to another

Some of these are good, some are bad, but all are somewhat of an eye-opener, which causes me to re-think what is normal.

What paradigm shifts have you noticed? We would love to hear from you.
